International community 🗺️
With 30 English-taught master’s and 6 bachelor’s there are a lot of students from outside the Netherlands. The university even counts over 100 different nationalities! You can image this gives the university a real international vibe. And if you want to meet other foreign students, there are more than 20 international associations in Wageningen that you can join. They organise excursions, festivities and make sure you won’t be alone.

Living in Wageningen
Wageningen is a small city with almost 40.000 inhabitants from over 160 different countries and is centrally located in the Netherlands. Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are only a one-hour train ride away. The campus of Wageningen University & Research is within cycling distance. Most of the international students live in Wageningen or surroundings. There is student housing at the campus, but also in the city Wageningen.
And if you like the outdoors Wageningen is a perfect place. It is surrounded by beautiful green nature. You can relax on the riverbanks of the Rhine river, wander through the forest or hang out in the city center. Here you can find historic and modern buildings, high-rise student flats, works of art and botanical gardens that all add to the diversity of Wageningen.
